Unlocked is a unique fashion platform designed to help users discover, curate, and trade clothing and accessories based on distinct aesthetic styles. By categorizing items into various niches—such as vintage, streetwear, bohemian, and more—Unlocked empowers users to find their personal style while seamlessly exploring complementary looks. It features a marketplace for buying and selling items, allowing users to tag products under specific categories. Each user has a customizable profile to showcase their purchases and planned sales, enhancing their personal experience. Unlocked promotes individuality and sustainable fashion, creating a vibrant community for fashion enthusiasts to connect and express their unique styles.

Advantages

Speed: Sketching allows for rapid iteration and quick adjustments, which is ideal during the brainstorming phase.

Flexibility: It encourages creativity and spontaneity, allowing designers to explore ideas without being constrained by software limitations.

Low Fidelity: The roughness of sketches can facilitate open discussions and feedback, focusing on concepts rather than visual details.

Disadvantages

Clarity: Sketches may lack the precision needed to communicate detailed interactions or layout, leading to potential misunderstandings.

Collaboration Limitations: Physical sketches can be harder to share with remote teams compared to digital wireframes that can be easily distributed.

Documentation: Sketches can be harder to archive and reference later in the project lifecycle.

For my project, a low-fidelity sketching style would be most effective. This approach allows the team to brainstorm and iterate rapidly, fostering a collaborative environment where ideas can be easily expressed and modified. Since the project is in its early stages, the focus should be on exploring various concepts and getting initial feedback without getting bogged down in software details. Once we settle on a direction, we can transition to a more polished digital wireframe to refine our chosen concepts further.
